This policy governs information collected via solsticestaking.io and our platform services. We operate in compliance with Switzerland's Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU's GDPR.
By accessing or using the Platform or Services, you agree to be bound by the terms described herein and to our collection and use of your personal data as described in this Policy.
We collect information during Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes required under Swiss anti-money laundering regulations, including:
Data collection is limited to what is necessary for regulatory compliance and service delivery.
Technical and Device Information: The platform collects IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, operating systems, and timestamps. IP addresses are removed or anonymized after usage in accordance with FADP requirements.
Cookies and Tracking Data: Temporary cookies store non-personal information for platform maintenance, research, and account administration. We do not store personal information in cookies. Users can manage preferences through the cookie banner.
Transaction Data: Details of staking transactions, rewards, and wallet information are collected. The platform operates on a non-custodial model — we do not hold user assets but process transaction metadata for service provision.
Communication Records: Customer support inquiries, technical requests, feedback, surveys, and interactions with support teams are logged.
Blockchain Data: Publicly available blockchain information is collected, including staking history, performance metrics, governance participation, and voting records. Blockchain data is inherently public and immutable; we do not control its availability.
Information may be received from business partners and affiliates, analytics and marketing providers, regulatory and compliance sources, and Google Analytics.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy shall apply to data that is anonymised, aggregated, or publicly available. Such data may be used for research, analysis, marketing, and business development without individual identification.
While the Platform aims to ensure security, privacy, and integrity of transactions, Solstice Staking AG does not control the blockchain network.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@solsticelabs.io. Upon request, we will cease processing and delete your information unless legal obligations require retention (FADP, AMLA compliance, or agreement enforcement). Withdrawing consent may limit access to certain services.
Security protections include encryption and access controls, regular security audits, internal control standards for personal information handling, and employee training on privacy compliance. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Access within the organisation is limited to employees who require it for service provision. All personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations under Swiss employment law.
In case of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the FDPIC without undue delay, as required under FADP.
Third-party processors assist with payment processing, email, surveys, data hosting, advertising, marketing, analytics, and technical support. These providers access and process information only for purposes we authorise, subject to data processing agreements complying with FADP.
Information may be disclosed to authorities when required by law, regulation, or legal process, including requests from FINMA or Swiss courts.
In merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or bankruptcy scenarios, personal information may be transferred as business assets. Any transferred data will remain subject to the terms of this Policy unless otherwise specified by the acquiring entity.
Data is retained while users maintain platform membership, for the period required under Swiss law (FADP, AMLA), and sometimes after account deletion for specific legal or compliance reasons. Retention periods under Swiss commercial law may extend up to 10 years for financial records. After retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
According to the FADP, you have the following rights:
Requests should be sent to info@solsticelabs.io. We respond within 30 days at no cost, unless requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
We ensure transfers outside Switzerland use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or binding corporate rules in FADP compliance. For countries without adequate protection (such as the USA), mechanisms approved by the FDPIC are employed.
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material updates will be communicated via email or platform notice. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
